santa's secret stash
Each time you spot an elf at one of the 19 venues listed above, snap a pic and show it to your bartender when you close out your tab.
If it's your first stop of the season, ask for a stamp card so you can track your progress.
Each time you spot an elf at a participating stop (up to 3x per venue) and snap a pic, you'll receive a location-specific sticker to add to your card.
Your card includes a link to a special online portal. Once you've completed your hunt, go to the online portal to upload a photo of your stamp card for a chance at Santa's Secret Stash of gift cards + swag.
Elves move weekly, and a maximum of three stickers per participating venue will count toward your Secret Stash entries tier. Submissions must be received by 11:59pm on 12/31 to qualify.
entry tiers

3 stickers = 1 entry
5 stickers = 3 entries
8 stickers = 5 entries
10+ stickers = 8 entries
+ 1 additional entry for each unique location visited
frequently asked questions:
Who can participate?
Participants must be 21 years of age or older at the time of entry, though you're welcome to enlist the help of your kiddos when searching for an elf. Purchase / consumption of alcohol is not required in order to participate.
I spotted an elf at one of the participating breweries or bottle shops, now what?
Make sure to snap a photo of the elf (or better yet, take an elfie selfie!) and show it to your bartender when you're closing out your tab. They'll give you a sticker to add to your stamp card. The more stamps, the more entries you'll receive for a chance at Santa's Secret Stash! Just keep in mind that a maximum of THREE stickers per location will qualify toward your entry tier.
If it's your first time spotting an elf this season, ask for a stamp card! You'll need a stamp card in order to submit your entries when you're finished hunting. A code for Santa's Secret Stash entry info is included on the card. (You can also find it here)
Please note: We are not responsible for lost or stolen stamp cards, so keep yours somewhere safe!
What's stopping me from just buying the stickers you're using or doctoring a card to cheat the system?
Nothing will physically stop you from doing that, but it's a surefire way to suck the fun out of something that has pretty low stakes to begin with. We also have back-end verification processes in place and will disqualify any entries that appear to be fraudulent. And then we'll call your parents and tell them what you did.
Can I post my elfie selfies on my social pages?
Please do! If you post on social media, be sure to tag the location and use the hashtag #SpotTheBeerElf2025 on FB or IG. (This will earn you an extra entry, as long as you also include your social handle when completing the Santa's Secret Stash form at the end of your hunt.)
What's in Santa's Secret Stash?
Santa is keeping a stash of gift cards and swag at each of the participating locations. At the end of the hunt, awardees will be randomly drawn from the entries received -- one for each participating location. You can dip into the stash multiple times, so the more elves you spot, the more entries you get!
How/when will I know if I won?
We will select and contact all awardees the week of January 4, 2026 with further details on how and where to claim their share of the stash. We will only notify those who are being awarded. Award notifications will come from the location(s) whose stash you've won, which may or may not be locations you visited during the hunt, as it's all randomly selected.
Where are the elves?
Nice try. No, but seriously: The elves are sneaky, but they will always be located in spots that are visible from publicly accessible locations, so please don't sneak behind the bar, into production areas, or anywhere else you're not allowed. The elves will be moved weekly.
Why are you doing this?
We're doing this because we think it's a festive way to bring a bit of light-hearted fun to the (sometimes stressful) holiday season, and also because we hope it'll encourage some local love when folks are out shopping for holiday gifts. Make sure to check out the seasonal merch and to-go options at the locations you visit!
