About the event

Come join us on Tuesday, Sept. 24 for a LIVE Jazz broadcast on WDCB Radio! 

The Derek Duleba Organ Trio will be performing LIVE in the Lounge at Skeleton Key and WDCB will be broadcasting it over the airwaves on 90.9FM from 7 to 8pm, with an additional set of music from 8:15 to 9pm.

Taproom will open at 5pm with food available for purchase from our friends at Burn N' Bull!

While this show is free to attend, there is only VERY limited standing room available in the Lounge on a first-come, first-served basis. You can, however, reserve seating for this one-time event for $12 per person (full tables available, too!), and you can choose where you want to sit when you reserve your seats in advance.

Please note: this event is 21+, and seating for the broadcast will begin at 6:15pm. We ask that guests arrive on time and be respectful of the show as we will be broadcasting LIVE over the radio!

About Derek: Derek Duleba is a highly acclaimed Jazz Guitarist and Educator, recognized for his exceptional talent and captivating performances. He has made a significant impact on the New York jazz scene and continues to inspire audiences worldwide.

Derek has performed at some of the most prestigious venues and festivals in the world, including the International Jazz Festival Bern, Chicago Jazz Festival, Chicago Symphony Center, Dizzy's Club (at Jazz at Lincoln Center), Jay Pritzker Pavilion, The Green Mill, and The Jazz Showcase, among others. He has shared the stage with numerous jazz luminaries, including Jeremy Kahn, Dan Trudell, George Fludas, Chris Foreman, Art Davis, Russ Phillips, Eric Schneider, and Andy Schumm.

Derek's unwavering commitment to excellence has earned him a highly coveted spot in Juilliard's Artist Diploma program, which he began attending in the Fall of 2023 in New York City. This exclusive 2-year performance-based program is designed for highly gifted and experienced performers at the post-graduate level who seek to further hone their artistry and professionalism. Derek's enrollment in this program is a testament to his exceptional skills and knowledge. His evolving artistry is palpable, and he is emerging as an even more accomplished musician, poised to take his career to new heights.

About the band: The Derek Duleba Organ Trio brings the soulful traditions of the Hammond B-3 organ to the twenty-first century. Rooted in jazz and blues, the trio infuses feeling and excitement into every musical moment. The group explores the frontiers of modern musical invention. In addition to bringing life to the great old standards, the group explores new arrangements with cutting edge improvisational approaches. These approaches are engaging yet never lose sight of the authentic expressions of groove and emotional evocation imbedded within the history of the organ trio.
