About the event
Many of us find it far easier to comfort a friend during tough times than to offer ourselves the same care and support when we're struggling. In this one-hour online workshop, we'll explore how softening towards ourselves is a radical act of strength, not defeat, and how self-compassion can actually strengthen resilience in daily life.
We'll also examine what self-compassion is and isn't (spoiler: it's not a free pass for bad behavior), and we'll try out several reflective exercises and meditative practices. You'll also learn informal practices you can take with you. All in all, it'll be a very casual, beginner-friendly workshop -- and one that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home :)
