THIS IS A TWO-DAY CLASS:
Brew day: May 21 (approx. 4.5 hours – includes a light lunch)
Bottling/Kegging day: June 4 (approx. 2 hours)
We’ll be going through the entire all-grain brewing process, using homebrew equipment that you can make yourself! Over the course of 4-5 hours, we’ll mill, mash, boil and chill together (though it’ll all be pretty chill), and when we’re not tasting, smelling, measuring or cleaning stuff, you’ll learn how to make a mash tun and immersion chiller from items you can get at the hardware store (we’ll give you an equipment list to take with you).
Two weeks later, we’ll get together again to bottle half the batch, and keg the other half.

About the instructor:
Emily Slayton is a self-taught homebrewer of 8+ years and one of the owners of Skeleton Key Brewery. Her favorite beers to brew involve botanical adjuncts such as chrysanthemum, sage, chanterelle mushrooms, staghorn sumac, peppercorns and roasted dandelion root…but not all at once. She believes that simpler is better, and balance is everything.
