Everyone deserves to be warm, and winter is well on its way! Join us once again in crocheting and knitting hats and scarves for local folks experiencing homelessness. Last year we collectively made more than 30 items to donate to PADS, and this year we’re hoping to make even more!

HUGE thanks to @yarnspirations for graciously donating the yarn for this year’s project!

New to crochet? Now’s the best time to learn, and designer/author Pia Thadani can show you how! We provide the hooks and yarn (as well as a discount on beer!), and for just $12 you can gain a whole new hobby. Beginner’s groups are limited to 6 people to ensure everyone gets ample guidance — click here to reserve your spot.

Intermediate and expert knitter/crocheters who don’t need instruction can jump right in — just bring your hooks/needles, and we’ll provide patterns and yarn (and a discount on beer!).

Ready to dive deeper into your love of craft beer? Learn the ancient art of brewing under the guidance of Eileen Uchima, accomplished homebrewer and president of the Urban Knaves of Grain home-brew club. No previous experience required!

In this 2.5-hour class, Eileen will show you how to combine yeast, hops, barley and water to create the alcoholic beverage we all know and love: BEER! To keep things simple (and much quicker!), we will start the way nearly every home brewer does: with malt extract and specialty grains.

We bet you’ve seen a cornucopia before on a hallmark card. But have you ever actually made one? Or one like this?

Join us for a special Thanksgiving event at Skeleton Key Brewery. With botanical artist Leelee of Leelee’s Garden, you’ll learn how to mix flowers, greens, fruit, and dried hops too to create your own stunning, unique “horn of plenty.” Your cornucopia will be a showstopper centerpiece for this week’s feast, and makes a fun hostess gift too.
