Tired of drinking flat beer out of a bucket? Join us for a 1.5-hour weeknight session where you’ll learn how to get some bubbles up in there and move your beer from your fermenter and into a shareable container. We’ll be bottling half of the beer produced in our All-Grain Homebrewing Class and kegging the other half. As a bonus, we’ll also show you how to use a beer gun to bottle force-carbed beer.
Topics covered:
* Naturally carbonating and bottle-conditioning beer
* Kegging + force-carbonating beer
* Bottling from a keg
About the instructor:
Emily Slayton is a self-taught homebrewer of 8+ years and one of the owners of Skeleton Key Brewery. Her favorite beers to brew involve botanical adjuncts such as chrysanthemum, sage, chanterelle mushrooms, staghorn sumac, peppercorns and roasted dandelion root…but not all at once. She believes that simpler is better, and balance is everything.
